Great latte and another deconstructed Poached egg on toast. Excellent and friendly service. Opens early so a great place for breakfast prior to work.
So we have been in Greymouth for just two days, day one we had KFC and it was as always, consistently good. On day two we treated ourselves to a Robert Harris lunch of 3 cheese Macaroni .cheese served with crispy bacon, and a plate of Nachos See photo The nachos were a huge disappointment, a large plate of corn chips and a small dollop of some minced beef concoction smothered in an overly sweet sauce thickened liberally with cornstarch The macaroni cheese, had three cheeses in it, but we could not identify what they were. The "crispy" bacon was no where near crispy in fact if anything was a little under-cooked. The macaroni cheese was a little runny, but then they had used all the cornstarch thickening on the Nachos . We also had two cups of weak tea, For a total cost $49.20 the meal was at best not up to standard, and at worst fairly appalling. Never again.
Great cafe! Food and coffee was fantastic. We had the brioche French toast and the RH big breakfast. Good cosy and clean environment with really friendly staff.
Stopped in for takeaway coffees, so wasn't there for long, but enjoyed our brief visit! Friendly staff, quick service, and the cabinet food looked good.
$4 for a cold pot of flowery-tasting tea and a snappy female barista that barked at me for asking if we could have some milk with our tea. "YES, alright - in a minute!" Like really? I noticed the waitress was also sheepish around this cantankerous woman - she'd already asked this woman for our milk and was completely ignored. My three-cheese macaroni was luke warm, no seasoning, and for three cheeses, it didn't actually taste like a single shred of cheese was used. For $15 I'd recommend spending your money elsewhere with more pleasant staff.
Awesome coffee and friendly service well, it’s the West Coast so being friendly is something they do best in this sunny corner cafe in downtown Greymouth. Try their Eggs Benedict with salmon as a morning starter. It’ll set you up for your day’s adventures on the Coast.
Good coffee, good food and close to the station. Great for a quick lunch while waiting for the return journey on the transalpine.
Terrible service. Plates and cutlery were dirty food was cold and tasted old. Owner is rude and doesnt care about any of the customers. Toilet overflowing with sewage water. If I could give zero stars i would. Go somewhere else
Didn't eat stopped in 4 a Frappae - delicious, lovely relaxing, clean cafe. Service quick and Frappae was yummyService: 5/5
Great sumptuous RH Big Breakfast for brunch. Got me through till dinner following the train trip to Christchurch on the TransAlpine.
