Very sad shopping here now super market is non existent nothing on shelves. Little nink nack shop that's worth it's weight in gold that and the chemist were the only place open the Dr's are always there. Not alot else going onnIt used To be the hub of the town now it looks dead. Soooo very sad
Riverslea Mall really struggled over the last few years, post flood and COVID, but what a great resource it is for the Edgecumbe community. Home to the supermarket, pharmacy, doctors, gift shop, farming supplies store, and no doubt others I missed, it has almost everything the community needs. It is important that we support these local places that exist to make life a little easier.
Don't waste your time there to dear and empty shelves in supermarket.chemist also avoid this more interested in staff holding a conversation with each other and drinking coffee than serving customers. So I walked out
Sadden that there are NOT more business in this huge complex. What a waste. If only there was a business built to draw in the people. Thoughts? Kohanga, Daycare?? But then, hard to compete with Whakatane and all the big Warehouse, Paknsave!!!! Nightclub?
Great to revisit the supermarket there. Had all the essentials l needed to top up whilst camping at Little Waihi. Unfortunately the op shop was closed until the 10th of January 2022
