17 luxury bach style accommodation set among 40 acres of prestine vineyard and olive grove, overlooking the river (Glen Eden River, Matakana). Each bach is finished to the highest standard, 5 star Qualmark certified, and includes 2 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, lounge, dining and kitchen facilities and expansive decks, each with it';s own unique aspect of the property. Completing the picture is a gas fire place, 32" LCD Tv,s and iPod docks for your entertainment.

Take a look around the property , relax, restore and retreat, while enjoying a game of tennis, petanque, a swim in the heated pool (27 degrees OCT- JUNE) or fish from the floating pontoon.

We spent Queens Birthday weekend at Riverside Matakana with a special family and friends reunion. The booking process was easy and we reserved a cluster of 5 units. The layout and standard of accommodation was perfect for our large group of 3generations. The highlight of our stay had to be the beautiful meal that was provided for us all at the cosy conference area. It was exquisite! Thanks again to the staff who made our special weekend something that we will recall as a truly special experience!
Great location, awesome service, beautifully designed baches with plenty of space for either small or big groups. It offers everything you need to enjoy a well-deserved holiday with friends and loved ones. The nice warm weather that comes with it is a bonus! You get a Tennis Court, Swimming Pool, River for kayaking and fishing, and more. Strongly recommend.
Such a welcoming introduction to our stay. Wonderful tranquil situation just did it for us. Private setting, drive right to your door - perfect relaxation. Could do it again and again! Honestly! was awesome! Good foodie places nearby especially for long lunching and then just relax with the sun going down in your own evening space.we thought, wow!
Pricey. Booked 2 night stay over the summer. The rooms weren't actual "rooms", and the extra sleepout/room is a garage-converted to a room. Arrived early but room wasn't ready until 2.30pm. Otherwise nice location probably for a wedding or special event, and there's some facilities tennis court and swimming pool.
Really enjoyed our stay here. We used it as a location to overcome our 12hr time difference. Lovely views and well equipped cabins for self catering. Enough to do in the surrounding area to enjoy yourself. Except for a tennis court and a boat ramp there are limited facilities on the premises. But who needs that?
Great outlook with nice accomodation. Not too far from several beaches, including Goat Island, to swim or go fishing and close enough to Auckland for a quick getaway. I have been here twice and would love to come again!
Gorgeous! Such a lovely place to unwind
Amazing place! We spent the weekend here with three other families booking out one group of batches. Beds, bathrooms, kichens, BBQ's were all excellent, clean, and worked well. Great location close to Matakana and other local attractions.
Loved our stay here yet again. Peaceful setting with lovely views of the countryside. Warm and cosy winter break started the moment we walked in.
A lovely and serene place to spend a weekend away. Just 5 minutes from Matakana Village, it is the perfect getaway location. The staff are very friendly and welcoming and will do their best to make you feel comfortable during your stay.
