A nice scenic place to visit, and the farmer’s market nearby is one of the best places to buy your weekly veggies at a reasonable price!
The best place to buy all your fruits, vegetables, greens and a lot more. They are very fresh and directly from the farmers. So farmers are also getting a good rate and we get it from them for cheap prices. For example the red, green and all types of lettuce will only cost 2$ a bunch which is at least 50% cheaper than your super markets. There are some awesome food trucks too with amazing indian food. You also get to buy Indian veggies.
On a good sunny day, Riverbank market is awesome. Good parking, spacious, fruits/veges and nice food to try...
Love the food trucks and the baked products. This is a great place for vegetables, but not so sure about the fruit recently. Today I had to look through the apricots to find some that would last a day or so, purchased a box of cherries, that had number of bad ones when I got home. saw people sorting through a box of peaches to find some worth buying and carrots that were moldy and rotten. The recent weather could be a factor, but its disappointing to see the stalls putting out fruit and having to remove the rotten fruit from the box.
Very nice open market. Unlike New Lynn one in Auckland, it is clean. Unlike the Farmers so-called "market" in Riccarton a Christchurch, it is an actual market the Riccarton one is just a fancy food court. The food looks plenty and good quality. They have good price as well. The location next to the river itself makes it a good spot for stopping by the river if you want to entratain kids. Easily highly recommended.
Veggies and fruits straight from farmers! Highly recommended. A handful of food trucks as well. One of the nice places in the town to see happy faces!!!
Best farmer's market in the Wellington region. Lots of room for the many produce stalls and an entire area for cooked food carts with a great selection of South East Asian and Indian foods. Yummy fresh baked sweet treats too!

Fantastic market, especially now they have sorted parking. Great range of fresh produce at good prices. Lovely to buy something to eat and sit on the riverbank on a sunny day. Wish they had greater range of hot food though, lots of roti but not much else shout out to the Chinese stall with the amazing dumplings.
Great little market with a good range of vegetables.... Lots of different suppliers with great fresh produce. No supermarket mark up is nice
