River Park Event Centre is a purpose built venue for all occasions located 8 Kilometres inland from Waipawa on the road to the Pourerere Beach. It contains a full commercial kitchen with two large chillers, two bars plus toilets and showers. It also has a dedicated stage (108M2) with 3 phase power and lighting and occupies 12.5 acres of land running alongside the beautiful Tuki Tuki River.
River Park Event Centre also caters for all potential private events including weddings-birthdays-corporate events- Scout/Guide events plus Motor Home stay overs and we work very hard to cater & price each function individually.
River Park Event Centre is the original home of the Coldduck Motorcycle Rally and now holds annual events including both the Coldduck Motorcycle meet and the summer version The Roastduck Motorcycle meet. River Park Event Centre is finalising a “tents & tunes weekend” for Labour weekend, this will include camping for the weekend and people will be encouraged to bring and play their instruments & musical talents. We will post Information for this event soon.
This is a free gate entry event and people are encouraged to bring along items to include in the auction held the afternoon of the Farmers Market.
Another eagerly awaited event to be held at River Park Event Centre is the ultimate Pink Floyd cover band, this major music event will be held 8th November 2014 and tickets go on sale on the 1st Of September.
