Riley Birdproofing Consultants work in an advisory role.
We conduct bird proofing assessments for companies needing to meet standards set for food safety compliance. There is a close link to Ace Birdproofing who can later provide remedial works.

Story

We understand bird behaviour in urban environments. This enables us to make sensible recommendations to minimise your particular bird problem.

There are many different types of proofing products that we can discuss with you.

Riley Birdproofing actively supports protection of NZ’s unique flora and fauna especially in the urban fringe Mangemangeroa Valley Reserves. We extend this interest by helping to protect NZ’s native bush environment from damage caused by many introduced animal and weed pests.

Possums, rats, mustelids and feral cats are predators of bird life, vertebrates, plants and seeds. Even Pukekos fall out of favour when they dig out young trees after community planting days, as they did in 2015.

Allan Riley is a member of the Friends of Mangemangeroa Society. FOM have a formal partnership agreement with Auckland Council in helping to manage, protect and enhance the reserves in the Mangemangeroa Valley of Howick.
