Sunday roast beef with all the trimmings on a Monday night. Super tasty and very filling for the medium size meal. The Roast House Richmond will be my Monday dinner ritual. The roast team are really nice folks too.
Being from the UK. I'm abit judgemental. First time I went I thought it was great . 2nd time... potato's are ok but not crispy like they should be be . Chicken is from frozen you can taste it. garlic bread was microwaved and terrible. Gravy is good portions are good. Also all meals should include peas carrots ect. Staff were grand.didnt get to Try the Yorkshire pudding but can guess there from frozen also . All in all its a good effort but nowhere near the real thing
Wow Roast house Richmond from entering your restaurant I immediately noticed how calm the energy was lots of good vibes the lady at the till was kind and efficient taking my order the owner takes so much pride in his establishment. Watching him prepare my meal from graciously cutting up my lamb and plating my beautiful spuds and gravy the whole experience in this shop was amazing and the food was the best roast I've had except for my Nana's the spuds are yummo just what I needed on this cold rainy flooding day. my dog also loves the free frozen lamb bones that they offer which is hugely appreciated if I could give you ten stars I would I will be back every fortnight for a roast.

Very good experience. Been in Nelson 3 years and only just found this place. Ordered 2 x lamb meals. Very good serving sizing and very good tasty food. As for the below comment regarding grumpy owner, he was nice and was showing the younger workers how to operate the til. Thanks I we will be back again. Cheers Josh
Very rude and grumpy owner, consistently telling off his young staff in front of a full house of customers. Pork roast had massive chunks of hard unrendered fat. Not getting a 1 star as the gravy, potatoes and veggies tasted great

Really great place offering delivery service during the week. Great for older people and generous serves. Super easy to work with for deliveries.
Grossly over priced. $26 for a lamb roast. $6 for a pottle of gravy and $5 for a chicken drumstick. Pork pieces are just fat. Crickey no wonders they don't need to open in the weekends. They blame covid and school exams. According to the sign on window. One wonders on government assist. I don't think they have opened weekends since lock down finished. Better to get a pub roast
Staff can be rude, but mostly alright.. Pork a bit to fatty and cut to thick.. The kumra not cooked enough.. Good size small meals, lovely gravy and garlic bread
