I am passionate in upcyclying old/dated furniture through painting. Tired of looking at a piece, then all it needs is a facelift & made current again!
Allow me to introduce myself; I was born into a creative family, my mum was an avid knitter, painter and decorator of our home, my Dad, a farmer used to attend work meetings & I remember he’d come home with pages of doodling, therefore I reckon I got my artistic flair from my parents, even though I can’t knit! I am an Interior Design student who has had an opportunity late in life to actually live my dream to guide people to create wonderful spaces to live in. I believe ‘Your home is a personal space and should reflect who you are’. I am an intimate fan of numerous Interior Design styles, as I constantly browse through home magazines, books, Pinterest and related TV programmes.
To date, my exposure to the industry has mainly been experimenting with spatial designing, colour schemes, understanding design elements that are paramount to creating the look that is required in your home or work place. However, I’m extremely excited to inform you that I have created blogs on how to ‘get the look’ designing my own unique style of drawings & styles. I result myself to be punctual, organised and give everything my 100% in all that I do.
I firmly believe the industry is an area in which I can both excel and enjoy the rest of my working life. My goal and aspirations for the future is to utilise my creativeness and my obsession for drawing in an industry, which I know, will benefit from my talent & passion. I applied to become a student in Interior Design and was accepted in 2014 and I have just completed my final year gaining a Diploma in Interior Design.
