Nice library, have gone here since I was a kid. Wish they had more seating options, and the building might need refurbishing to be honest as it hasn't changed over the past 15+ years.nnAlso find it ridiculous that, as a kid under 10 years old, I was able to recite my library membership number a 10+ digit number off by heart to the librarian but she wanted the card to be sure it was the right person. Who would memorize somebody else's library card number to get out books with no charge incurred?
lovely quiet library with lots of wide desks for intensive studying. would love if more of the desks had access to charging ports, but other than that, it's perfect for studying, and the staff seem very friendly.
Great Liabaray, children section is nicely decorated, friendly and helpful working staff. They got lots of Chinese books which is a surprise as there aren’t many Chinese people living in the neighbourhood.
Played mini golf yesterday. Place was clean and tidy. Great place for people of any age. Children and grandparents. Followed the golf with time in the arcade. Lots of different games to play.
I love this place! I do a lot of research online on books to read, look for them on the website of the Auckland Library network requesta them to be brought to the Orewa library.nnThe staff is always so kind and helpful. Great books and nice people.nnI've been reading so much more nThank you a lot!
