I've just finished a wonderful 2 day Paint & Fabric Decoupage Course. Sarah is kind, friendly, patient and made me feel at home in her lovely workshop. I had never done any furniture revamping before, so these were completely new skills to me and just look at what I achieved! From 1980''s dress made at school & a boring old bedside table to funky hall storage unit with beautiful Sophie James paint. Love it. Thanks for being a fab teacher, for the lovely lunches too! & for giving me the skills and confidence to try more creative projects.
Sarah did a great job giving a our old clock a new lease of life. Really impressed with how it turned out and would definitely ask Sarah to upcycle items in the future. Very easy to deal with and great communication. Thanks Sarah
What a refreshing two days in the cheery company of Sarah at ReVamp Boutique. Thank you for allowing a more experienced maker the opportunity to do her thing, with thanks to the events of Covid19 a dedicated one-on-one opportunity! An opportunity to spread the paint around merrily & make a little something I will say I've had more than a little positive feedback about Thanks so much Sarah for your dedication, all the best for ReVamp! Here's to good times x
Sarah recently revived an old sewing box, which has been passed down through a couple of generations of family. It wasn't in the best state but now looks great and now has four legs instead of three!. I also wanted it painted and relined in some bright colours for my daughter's bedroom. Sarah provided lots of ideas and used Pinterest to give me some inspiration. She also suggested adding a different touch for the finish inside the box and it looks amazing. We are really happy with how it turned out. Communication was also great throughout.
Had a wonderful day on "Update a Lampshade Course" Lot's of learning, experimenting and meeting other like minded people. Sarah is a really great teacher, very easy going and patient. Lunch was delicious too
Did Sarah’s 2 day paper decoupage course this week and really enjoyed the experience. It was great to learn the techniques to transform an old coffee table into a unique piece for my home. Great, friendly, informal atmosphere and I will be looking at future courses that are on offer at Revamp Boutique.
Hugh thanks to Revamp for the fabulous overhaul to our dresser. When we moved into our house 12 years ago, the previous owners had completely underestimated the task of moving house: they left a number of items behind, including this monster of a dresser, which could only fit in one place in the whole house. "Much loved" by the previous family - including the children, whose felt pen scribbles were visible in several places - it never really felt like ours and thus became something of an eyesore. Fast forward a decade and, after extensive remodeling during Covid, it really was time to make a decision. Conscious of the ethical dilemma and with a need to continue storing a great deal of "stuff", it was time to turn this tired workhorse into something we could love again. A former colleague recommended ReVamp and what a delight, from the first point of contact to following up after delivery. We are so pleased with our finished product and the service received - a rarity these days it seems - we are scouring the house for other potential projects and would definitely recommend to anyone!
Revamp means to 'give new and improved form, structure, or appearance to. "an attempt to revamp an image' and that is exactly what Sarah does in such an excellent and creative way. I recently bought an evening fringed bag off her, which I love. Have a look at the 'vault' section of her website things for sale. You won't be disappointed with the style of the products. Sarah is always professional and friendly. Offers advice and follows up any queries that you may have very quickly. I am more than happy with the service I have received from her and know that she will do exceedingly well in her business. Sarah recently re-vamped my pine chest of drawers. I am over the moon with it. Its beautiful and perfect and fits in well with my newly decorated bedroom. Thank you Sarah. I would not hesitate in recommending you and if anything in my home needs revamping, you shall do the job just fine. :}
From cacography as my only artistic skill, Sarah converted me into creating my first ever artsy-craftsy creation! Forget YouTube and making organic-mueslihomemade-in-someone's-shed type of tat - Sarah's hands-on workshop with her eye for perfection, passion for her crafts, inordinate knowledge from interior design to Ideal Home exhibition workshops will have you creating in hours! Add on Simon's scrumptious lunches and the wonderful company - a truly 5 star product
