I was fortunate to spend the New Year @ Woodlands Historic Park - a day well spent. The park is well maintained and preserved and met a very friendly ranger. Tons of Kangaroos can be seen resting, running around, grazing . The hill top offers a scenic view and lots of Kangaroos.

Great park to go for some exercise or a leisurely stroll through a beautiful landscape. The kids were excited to see Kangaroos everywhere. Amazing in spring, as you can see in the photos.

Good for long walk. Bring water and shade. And some friends else it becomes boring

Spread out grasslands, good for hiking. Able to take strollers though the paths have uneven surface. Spotted many mobs of kangaroos. Park closes at 4.30pm. But you can park your car outside the gate and spend time inside 24hrs.

Loved how l was so close to nature without having to travel more than 20 mins from metro Melbourne. I would suggest better signage regarding walk distances and directions. I will be back.

Kids love riding bikes here very scenic and plenty of kangaroos in every direction! Can be on a windy day once needed jackets but still had a lovely time!

Great place to ride, run or walk. Plenty of native wildlife and vegetation. Good parking many access points. Creeks, granite outcrops. Plus historic homestead and other ruins.

Great area very close to the northern suburbs and airport, with an amazing view over the city and airport. Definitely worth a visit. Lots of kangaroos around.

Great place for a long walk or bike ride. Plan your visit 2 - 3 before sunset If you want to see plenty of kangaroos. Make sure to get enough water and snacks and please get your garbage with you. It's sad to see some people contaminating such a wonderful place.
