My favourite place to stay in the Central Plateau. Everything you need in one handy location. Great meals at affordable prices, with a buffet breakfast for those who want it.
a small town, with a really cool dairy and fish n chip shop, the war memorial hall is where the toilets are you may need your own toilet paper but kept clean and there is a really nice park right next door for the kids to have break from the car. There is also a tavern there that serves beverages and kai in the evening. loved our little stop here.
It's nice to know that there is acre look relatively clean public toilet on the back Broadlands road between Rotorua and Taupo. It does have closing hours though, 1700 hours in Winter and 20:00 hours in Summer so be mindful of that.
