Amazing food, friendly and attentive staff and hardly blinked at a no booking table of 8 sorry guys.nDuck curry was an absolute highlight and the steak was beautifully charred and right on the money for a medium-rare. Our hoard of kids ate well with plenty of options even if the 9-yo struggled to finish the ribs.nOh and the seafood hotplate, wow! Fresh scallops, prawns we're some of the best I've had especially coated in their sweet glaze.
Excellent coffee. Excellent food. Our lunch here a highlight of our Northland trip, so far. Not sure if anything else could top the delicious scallops with bacon, or the prawn salad we had. Generous servings of seafood - great value for what we paid for our meals. Highly recommend.
The perfect place for breakfast! I had the best French toast I’ve ever had! We were there spontaneously and were rewarded…. three times in a row! It was perfect every time. The staff are super friendly and the atmosphere is lovely. This Café/Restaurant worth it!
Called in for breakfast a few mornings on the trot whilst staying in the area. There was always a warm welcome and a smile as soon as you entered and your order was dealt with efficiently. There are lots of options on display in the chilled cabinet but the breakfast menu was my option every day. I had eggs Benedict on one morning which arrived quickly and was delicious and filling. The following morning i went for their Meusli which was filled with fresh fruit, yoghurt and milk if you wanted. It was so good i ordered the next day too! Coffee was good and i was set up for the day. Highly recommended .
Went for breakfast and couldn’t fault it. Had the savoury mince on toast — the best mince i’ve ever tasted. Cute location, warm, good coffee.
