The couple who runs this have been running out for a 60 years. They are really nice, and there is a lot of interesting animals to see. They have two very nice peacocks and a llama and a deer. The river was nice. The chickens chase you around while you feed them. It's a little expensive.
I love. Love. Love this place. It's like going back in time.. really enjoy feeding the animals too.
Beautiful grounds but a bit pricey and cafe etc looking rundown. Would take grandkids back with own picnic rather than eat in these days. Shabbier than when first visited a few years ago.
It's great. Really inspirational to hear of these people going so strong in their old age. I've been told so many great things about this place. So I hope it keeps going strong for many more years.
Great quirky place, great food and coffee. The couple that run the cafe are lovely, definitely worth a visit with kids, all the animals are super friendly. It is a little run down in areas around the park though, but don't let that put you off it's a great Sunday afternoon visit!
Well and truely past the time they need to give it up. Food was well below average and very expensive. Unless you want to remember what your nan's place in 1960 was like, give it a miss.
we didnt eat or shop pottery, just went to the farm park section. not a lot of animals and there were a couple that looked to be in bad knick. to be fair we didnt ask and they could have been rescue animals or undergoing treatment but they looked pretty bad. but it was a nice wee outing for the boy, wear gumboots!!
