Based in GORE and now with a branch in BALCLUTHA, serving Eastern Southland, West Otago and South Otago. Locally owned and operated by the Abernethy Family and a team of true local folk dedicated to providing outstanding Customer Service with NEW FORD PASSENGER and COMMERCIAL VEHICLES, FORD PARTS and FORD SERVICE.
GORE Base, Parts Manager is Alan Byrne while MATT KING controls our Highly Trained Service Technicians in our Fully Equipped Service Department.

GORE Sales Team comprises of ROBIN SOUTH assisted by Dealer Principal, NATHAN ABERNETHY.

BALCLUTHA BRANCH –Vehicle sales are directed to the Gore branch while TONY BLACK controls Balclutha’s Service area.

We also operate Firestone Direct for all your tyre requirements at our Balclutha Branch – DAVID CRAWFORD will take care of you.

Our company prides itself on customer care and our people are prepared to go the extra mile when it comes to service excellence.

Went into the dealership earlier this week was very interested in buying a truck but was fobbed off by some salesman who thought I didn’t have the money and was directed to some website to apply for finance , didn’t seem keen on helping me with options however later that day I went to southern autos and approved for a truck the next day, real shame cos I wanted a Ranger but no one seemed interested in helping me achieve that goal! Typical Gore customer service
Unfortunately pretty poor communication within the business. When I booked in for a service and repairs the repairs weren't done because that message never got passed on to the workshop so now I have to book in again..... and my contact details got lost so never got called when it was ready. Won't be back
Boot broke, said they didn't have the right parts sent us away
Great, no EXCELLENT service at the parts department. Went into get some plastic fasteners for a plastic cover under the Transit van and the mud flap. The guy went to the workshop and came back with a selection and said try these. I asked how much. Nothing! That would be why people drive to Gore instead of Invercargill for parts, services and new vehicles. Well done guys/girls, highly recommended.
Excellent friendly service at a fair price they go that extra mile to ensure that you are happy and vechicle is fixed to a high standard.Would recommend to all.Thanks for a job well done .
