Stay was good as a break in the journey south.nBed was comfortable and warm when we arrived.nKitchen has the basics in it, but folding corner cupboard door under the bench needs attention to the top hinge. Looks as the hinge should be replaced.nBathroom tidy and clean, notice that flooring material is coming away under the handbasin.nService friendly and professional.
Very disappointed over priced. Rooms were cold, sat with bkankets around our legs. Couch low to the floor. No bathroom heater. Toaster broken. No knives for prepping food. Beds were comfortable with electric blankets. Did have a heat pump needed it at 28 so hard to warm room up.
Clean, comfortable rooms at a good price. Plenty of easy access parking. Pet stay options and friendly, helpful operator.nGreat place to stay
Easy to book. Car park right outside room. Unit was clean and has everything needed. The photos of the unit showed a spa bath though it wasn't included in the room facility list so I presumed there was a spa but it does not work. Bed was a bit firm but that might be just my preferences.
Our third stay here & first under the new management. Very quiet location except for the occasional freight train passing through across the road. Plenty of parking space is great as is being able to choose when you want your unit serviced. The new air conditioning/heat pumps are a great improvement. I needed an accessible unit due to problems getting off normal height toilets. Unfortunately this unit also had a low toilet which I was surprised to see in an accessible unit. The handle on the wall was not sufficient to pull myself up so I still had to struggle. Overall though we will return on our next visit to Ashburton.
