What is Reflexology?
* A simple, holistic, non-invasive therapy.
* It can improve circulation, and relieve tension,
* It allows the body to heal itself from within.
* It complements other therapies and allopathic medicine
Reflexology had its origins in ancient Egypt and eastern countries.
In the early 1900’s, Dr. William Fitzgerald used zone theory to reduce pain during surgery.
American Eunice Ingham made great contributions to western style reflexology in the 1930’s. Much of the reflexology practiced today is based around her research and practices
Reflexology works on the reflex zones in the feet, to stimulate the body’s own healing response
The internal body structures and organs are mirrored on the feet, with every part of the body having a corresponding reflex point on each foot. By using a specific pressure technique on the feet or hands the whole body can be treated.
A natural form of healing which treats the whole body through the feet.
Health and Well Being has been a passion of mine for long as I can remember. I have a deep fascination with the mechanic and bio-mechanics of the human body which has lead me to pursue Reflexology as a life passion and dream career.
4 years in the making to become a Reflexologist I achieved 'Honours' in Applied Human Anatomy and Physiology and a Diploma in Reflexology
My intention as a Reflexologist is to offer the highest achieved standard of a health and well being through the practise of Reflexology.
Note* Reflexology will not fix you but will aid your body in fixing itself
