Reflekt Decorating was created in November 2010 in Hamilton NZ after my wife and I moved from London where I worked in a renowned private school’s Design and Technology Department as a technician. Previously I worked as a painter and general handyman.
Growing up with both parents as successful artists I was exposed to and taught many of the arts including pottery, joinery and cabinet making, sculpting, oil and acrylic, watercolours as well as sketching. During school I developed a love for pencil sketching and photography which I’ve continued on and off for years.
After high school and travelling I worked for many years in the Film industry in Cape Town where I naturally ended up in the art department. Working with veteran art directors, I gained skills in prop fabrication and set-dressing as well as construction. I excelled in the position of Prop Standby as I loved the high-pressure environment.
I have a keen eye for detail and a passion for a good finish using good quality products applicable to the specific needs.
