The Rees River is a river in New Zealand, flowing into upper Lake Wakatipu in the South Island. It is named for explorer and early settler William Gilbert Rees, the founder of the nearby town of Queenstown.

The view is simply breathtaking. The sky, clouds, mountains and the river, all surounds us and makes us feel small.
Beautiful place. Not too many people would stop here which makes the place even more special. All the vast open space and scenery just for us. It was surreal and awesome.
