Food was prepared well. Plating lacked - served pie, was pie on a plate.nFlavours outstanding. A little too outstanding on one of our desserts, wasn't finished as too strong.nMake sure you have a warm jacket and prepared to eat outside when busy. Lovely atmosphere, awesome shop, great food.
Highly recommend the red kitchen for your next coffee catchup, lunch date or solo treat.nBeing a gluten free girly makes cafes feel daunting and scary never sure whether you’ll be able to enjoy a sweet treat or not. But Red Kitchen has us sussed! I definitely suggest you do not try their absolutely Devine gf chocolate Caramel Slice as they are ADDICTIVE… their gf chocolate peppermint slice is also very delicious! And their house made smoothies are also a great refreshing treat!nnOnly wish is that they were in Hamilton not Te Awamutu. But the caramel slice is worth the drive nnOh also also the owner, is very lovely and friendly! I felt like we’d known each other for ages.
First time visiting this establishment - visiting from Far North.nnGreat atmosphere, great service, great food. Loved my chicken, cranberry and brie mozza toasted. Stayed warm even after driving around and leaving it in the takeaway container for more than 7 minutes. Good flavour and buttery. The little shop area was super cute, loved the range of organic products local or not and kitchen accessories. Walked in just as they were closing up the coffee machine but we're happy to make us a last minute coffee, service was lovely.nnOne thing I will say that wasn't the nicest was the Chai Latte. Had a weird flavor and pretty sure was spicy even though I wanted sweet. The food was a bit expensive for what it was, example: $5 for a bliss ball most of the food was $14.50. Other than that, 5 stars.nWould visit again!
Great service and atmospherenPerfect place to stop in while traveling through. Coffee was nBig breakfast with a decent chunk of bacon!
Popped in one morning when staying locally for a couple of coffees. Coffee was really nice, and the Barista that made them and gave them to me was super nice and friendly. Only minor issue being that the person taking the orders was not friendly.
