Red Star Burger Bar has been serving up gourmet handmade burgers in Wanaka for over 10 years. We stock a range of New Zealand craft beers as well as organic and fair-trade juices and sodas.
We have a great local following and are known around the world for our fresh and tasty food as well as our fun, friendly service.
We have a creative menu that showcases local and organic produce and that reflects the diverse (multinational!) Wanaka community.

Good price, huge burgers and really tasty. Gluten free bun was just as big as the regular and   was soft and yummy. A little bit of a wait but worth it. Recommended!

Solid as family favourite. We can't seem to stay away for more than 2 weeks

To be honest, I enjoyed this joint more than fergburger in queens town. The burgers were filled with flavours and their Cajun chips was amazing. Generous size burger and lots of fries.

Fantastic burgers. Vegetarian burger was very tasty and the chips were very well fried.

Really good food and super nice staff

I tried the chicken Satay. It was just tasteless. We wasted so much time to drive from Hawea, then get this kind of stuff. But later on, we found the best burger in Hawea in a local store and kitchen. Kind of a nice little compensation.

Chips were phenomenal. Burgers are massive and very yum, made with good quality ingredients.
