Super cozy and warm inside with the fireplace going. Staff were very friendly and service was fast, my chai latte was perfect temperature and I could drink it straight away the food cabinet was full of so many delicious looking treats. Me and my partner ordered from the menu and the waffles were delicious and a perfect portion size for me, my partner loved his meal and said the mushroom sauce was amazing. Will definitely be coming back to this cute cafe next time we’re passing by. Thanks team!
A charming café perfect for a quick stopover on the way to Hanmer Springs. The interior has a unique design that fits well with the Red Post theme. The coffee was reasonably priced, and we particularly enjoyed the strong, flavorful latte.
Nice stop on the drive from Nelson to Christchurch. Outdoor seating. Milkshakes were lovely for $7.50, toasted sandwiches on gluten free bread for $8 also good. Don't buy the filled buns from the cabinet as they were very dry bread. Coffee was good.
Stopped in on the way back from Hamner Springs to Christchurch. Service was pretty quick and happy with dietary requirements. Pricing was reasonable. Eggs Benedict were good but sauce lacking a bit. Daughter had the GF/DF beef burger and said it was good other than the toast was a bit burnt.
Stopped in for brunch on way back from weekend away. We had the mushrooms and the Eggs Benedict with salmon. Very tasty mushrooms and very filling. The eggs bene are served with a generous portion of salmon. Great little place to stop in. A nice small community atmosphere. Very friendly staff, an assortment of cabinet food plus menu options and plenty of parking.
