Stopped in for brunch on way back from weekend away. We had the mushrooms and the Eggs Benedict with salmon. Very tasty mushrooms and very filling. The eggs bene are served with a generous portion of salmon. Great little place to stop in. A nice small community atmosphere. Very friendly staff, an assortment of cabinet food plus menu options and plenty of parking.
Stopped in on the way back from Hamner Springs to Christchurch. Service was pretty quick and happy with dietary requirements. Pricing was reasonable. Eggs Benedict were good but sauce lacking a bit. Daughter had the GF/DF beef burger and said it was good other than the toast was a bit burnt.
Love this cafe and the wonderful service. The quick thinking humorous responses keep me on my toes and looking forward to a great banter. Love the Kawa Kawa tea and snacks. My friend likes their Salmon bagel's
Love stopping at the Red Post on our travels. Stopped in again this morning and had a lovely brunch and drinks. Ordered the Big Breakfast, and an omelette with spinach, mushrooms and a side of smoked salmon. For drinks we had a flat white and a vanilla chai with almond milk. Also bought a gf lemon friand and an apricot danish to takeaway for later. Everything was delicious!
Stopped by this cafe on the way back from Maruia. Very friendly lady behind the counter and lovely atmosphere. Enjoyed a nice bagel from the cabinet. Would definitely stop by again.
