Nice big cafe with ample seating. Cosy inviting ambience in a quaint country style decor. Seemed very popular with the locals. Wide selection of brunch and sandwiches.
Mixed reactions about this cafe First visit. 1. Omg the most expensive breakfast for two. 2. My poached eggs were cooked to perfection 3. His scrambled eggs were runny and bland 4. Toast yummy but one small piece cut in half just isn’t enough. 5. Oh and did I mention friggen expensive.
Best big breakfast I've had in a long time! Everything super fresh, plus great Chai not everyone can make a good Chai latte..defo recommended and defo going back...
A very busy cafe with both a wide selection of food and warm and inviting staff. The food we got was a reasonable price,tasty and the coffee was well made,hot and was delivered fast even as busy as they were. So if you are driving through Calverden please stop and try for yourself I don't think you will be disappointed.

Great place to call in and grab a coffee or light bite to eat when traveling through. Hot chips to go are also very yummy if eating on your journey.
Beautiful fire on a cold winters morning with warm and welcoming service Amazing food selection and yum coffees! A shame we were just passing through - would have loved to sit and drink our coffees by the fire!
It has been a few years since I was last in Culverden but I always visit this cafe on my visits as I have always had great service in the past. Coffee was hot and tasty. They forgot about my scone and when it did arrive it was practically nuclear hot. This meant it had become very rubbery, dry and inedible. The owner saw I hadn't eaten it so it was a pity she did not offer a replacement or at the very least an apology.
Was so glad to find a cafe actually open during holidays! Perfect stop during road trips. Good ambience and friendly staff. The coffeemocha was top-notch and the funny quotes written on the ceiling beams - pure genius! Totally recommend 100%
