I used to come here a lot as a child with my family to grab a pie and sit at the lake. I didn't want to say this but their pies were a huge disappointment from what I remember pastry needs to be more flakey, toppings were tasty but the pies were not as deep as they used to be or cheesy! They were nice pies but they were not at our usual expectation. Of course I'll come back there because the service was lovely and the milkshakes were really good
The pies at the dairy used to be very nice, I have found that when I have gone to get pies alot of the time though they have given me a dry pie as if it has been in the warmer yesterday so I have not been going in as much anymore, sent my son in this morning to get a pie and i got a real disappointment AGAIN which is the reason I'm posting. I am a local in greytown and have been to this dairy since childhood, things are not how they used to be, a bit disappointing. Every other thing you buy at the dairy is great, the service is good, the people are nice, would definitely still shop here but personally I wouldn't get myself any pies.
Best pies, great when your driving past in a hurry
Best Mince pies In the world. PLEASE make more. They're always sold out by mid day.
