A Rustic Retreat Experience for a unique Glamping Adventure on the Tapu Valley, Coromandel.

Story

Hi there! Kia Ora, We are Rebecca Tony and Amber and we live in a scenic area in the Coromandel. We invite enthusiastic strong and capable people to join us on this beautiful land with fruit trees,a river and 2km to the sea.(and local shop, pub and takeaway)
Alongside our beautiful house We have the makings of a barn, a camp kitchen and some rustic dwellings. right now we can accommodate a couple or two friends together. We are looking for experienced outdoor workers who can use tools. Work here could include helping to make structures, eco showers/wood sheds/etc aswell as gardening, bush maintenance,painting , animal caring, fruit picking, sculpting and creating spaces.
We also welcome artistic people who can sculpt and paint. We offer a lovely private bush spot with your own caravan and camp kitchen and private bathroom. We have Kayaks and bikes for cycling up the valley on or down to the beach,2kms. we are near the water gardens, square kauri and deep river swims.Also close to famous sites such as Cathedral Cove and Hot Water Beach. We are in our mid-thirties with one young child and would also be keen to share with other young travelling families too.

We would like to hear from you if have something to offer, are eco friendly and wish to make a difference here, like the alternative lifestyle, are good and fast at outdoor work and are open to being flexible. Sometimes we are super busy with people, sometimes pretty quiet,(in the winter) you will need to enjoy your own privacy especially most evenings as we have a young one to think about and basically retire early.
We base a nights stay on 2 hours work and ask you to cook for yourselves. we often also have group days of four hours then I cook a meal for us all. So this can be a few days a week, we are flexible and relaxed and all chose how each day will be.

We just ask at least a weeks stay from you so we can get into a flow together and give you a project to complete.Thanks for reading and happy travels !
