About

Rec Park Centre is for sport and recreation in Golden Bay. It is a council-community facility. Clubrooms on the Park is a superior function venue.

Story

Recreation Park is on the outskirts of Takaka. The fields are used for sports and the annual A&P show. The Rec Park Centre includes a sport stadium, two squash courts, four large changing rooms, two small changing rooms, a community room for meetings and a large function room for social events. Other buildings include Playhouse Theatre and the base for Photography Club, SeniorNet and local Search and Rescue.

Our large membership follows a social media code of conduct.
1. Train with your team. Play for your club. Always represent Golden Bay
2. Encourage and model positive attitudes. Give 3 cheers, shake hands!
3. Bridge etiquette is common courtesy. Be well-mannered.
4. If you catch yourself being impolite, exercise self-discipline.
5. Practise sportsmanship. NO sledging. This is New Zealand.
6.No name-calling it is unkind. No swearing it is offensive.
