Within her career Carla has been fortunate to have worked in New Zealand Fashion week, Film and television in the Hair and makeup department. To being a hairdressing Tutor and Assessor.

Carla cherishes her time working with some of the industry greats, in some of the top opulent award winning salons in Auckland her last residence of which being with Stephen Marr Hair.

Review for Carla – Rawk Hairdressing I could not recommend Carla highly enough. Super talented hair stylist you can trust completely to make your hair dreams come true. I was so fortunate that Carla agreed to do not only my hair, but my two flower girls, two bridesmaids’ and my mums hair on our big day. She rearranged her schedule to accommodate us and drove the 143km round trip to our venue. So many guests complimented us on our beautiful hair. She did all our hair by herself and was super-efficient while dealing with an over excited and flustered bridal party. She made me feel like a princess and I couldn’t be more grateful. I recommend Carla 100% to anyone wanting the best. Thank you so much again!
I had Rhiannon as my stylist and she was awesome! She asked questions about what I wanted which was good. I loved the outcome of my colour. She done such a beautiful job! I got a baylage. The salon was very busy, and all the stylists work looked fabulous around the salon

Booked in with Belinda for a cut last week. She was so lovely. The cut she gave me was amazing. It’s exactly what I wanted and the blow wave to finish it off was to die for! My hair was refreshed and bouncy. I definitely walked out of there with a bounce in my step! I had my little boy with me who is 2.5 years old and everyone at the salon was so accommodating of him. Thank you to Belinda and the team. I will surely be visiting the salon more often.

RAWK has an incredible team. They’re all illuminating warm, welcoming, vibrant energy and have huge talent. I go here regularly since I found them. Can confirm they’re the best for cuts, balayages, tinting, washes + blow waves The offerings of chocolates/mints/cookies + sparkling water, coffee/tea tops it off too Carla has done an amazing job and her passion for her work radiates through to all staff and her results.
It’s been many years since I walked out of a hairdressing salon with a skip in my step like I did today. I had just had the most disastrous experience of a failed hair colour at a local hair salon. My hair was a bright coppery mess. I shared my experience with a total stranger who confidently referred me to RAWK , thinking I had nothing to lose I quickly made my way to Carla . To my suprise , within a few minutes I found myself seated in a comfy chair staring at myself in the mirror not knowing whether to laugh or cry when I saw the comedy of errors in the reflection … the brightest coppery mess. Carla knew precisely what to do and without hesitation jumped into action and it was all “ hands on deck “ as her team rustled to assist. The salon was busy with each hairdresser attending to her clients , yet they all made an effort for me too , who had just walked in not to far from closing time , hoping to receive advise and an appointment in the New Year as the last few days before Christmas are understandably fully booked. I entrusted Carla and gave her Carte Blanche. The team of RAWK are most professional and provided a warm welcoming experience from the onset. There is a very special atmosphere in this salon , the staff are polite and condone themselves in the utmost professional manner. Thank you for all that you did for me today , I am so grateful to Carla and Belinda for what you did for me today , our hair is our crowning glory. Merry Christmas to you All
The first time I sat in Belinda’s chair I told her everything that was wrong with my stupid hair. She listened to me rant & ever since has done everything she can to make it look the best it has ever looked in my life. She listens to my ideas and gives me exactly what I ask for, only better… except when she wrinkles her nose and says “no, we’re not doing that” Cant speak highly enough of Belinda and the whole team at RAWK.
I have to say this is the very best hairdressing salon that I have ever experienced. I have never been disappointed and my last visit yesterday was no exception. Thank you Carla once again for working your magic!! You certainly are the very best!!!Services: Hairstyling
First time getting a proper hair cut today, absolutely loved the service & my stylist Cece who did an amazing job! I feel so pretty. Why have I never gotten my hair done before?!? Definitely would recommend and will be back for another cut and balayage sometime soon
