Our cycle group 12 older gents stayed here on the 3rd night of our recent tour from Cape Reinga to Bluff. The accommodation was booked over 6 months in advance firstly by phone, then by email. Our stay here was great with good rooms, showers etc and Cherry was most helpful. Good swimming pool as well. Highly recommend as a place to stay.
Friendly helpful staff. Facilities are older though very clean and tidy. Some sites are narrow though if you don't have an awning no issue on any site. We will definitely be back . Thank you for a lovely stay.Hotel highlightsGreat view, Quiet, Kid-friendly, Great value
We loved this spot. Lucked in with last minute booking, greeted as we arrived on our motorbikes with genuine warmth and care. Got two great rooms - loved ours looking out over the pool and down the harbour. Perfection plus! Super comfy rooms, lovely kept grounds, nice to wander about in the late afternoon, swimming just fine to cool off in and nice first thing in the morning too, shared bathrooms work fine if you do t find yourself having to wait too long. Can’t imagine a better spot on the Hokianga at such a great price with such great hospitality, views etc. I gush!!
Stayed at this beautiful place for 6 nights 09/12/23 to 14/12/23 We were made to feel so welcome Clean Kitchen and Toilets love love love the hot showers. Soo peaceful and the air is fresh and clean I live in Auckland Definitely recommended for campervans Can't wait to plan our next trip
Feeling so relaxed after a night here up on the hill... and a total fluke we found it after crossing on the car ferry. The views over the Hokianga Harbour were so picturesque. There's a little platform with seats and we sat here for our meals. Our 2 yr old loved the pool and playground and the kitchen and bathroom facilities were clean and tidy. Quite easily one of our favourite Northland campgrounds!
Spent a night here in the tent. Facilities are good, grounds are well manicured and the pool is lovely. Would happily stay again.Rooms: 5/5
Booked to stay for 3 nights got a verbal warning on the first night to keep the noise down because my 1 year old son was being to loud walking around in side cabin. Opted to stay else where after the first night. Not suitable for babies/toddlers who can walk around and don't understand rules yet Also 10pm to 730am they want absolute silence. They will ask you to leave if you do not follow the silence rules. Would never stay again !!! Rooms: Floor boards creak Safety: Gravel is very loose and slips when walking down the slopes are bound to happen. Noteworthy details: Take a tub to bath toddlers instead of standing in the showers.
easy accomodation, clean facilities and kitchen. very friendly and well situated. Dislocated a rip on the morning we had to check out! They were more than helpful and drove me to a specialist + we could prolong the stay for another day. Heartwarming place!Rooms: 5/5
