Story

Rata Jewellery presents an international collection but specialises in contemporary NZ designed and manufactured jewellery.

We proudly showcase edgy, emerging designers including Cathy Pope, Sophie Divett and Odi Boutique and gorgeous ranges from established designers David Trubridge, Jill Main, Lisa Hoskin, Stone Arrow and Natty.

Our stunning Greenstone Collection is hand carved locally from genuine NZ greenstone by Darren Stowe.

We offer a unique range of sterling silver jewellery, from timeless pieces to current, chic styles.

Our overseas range of Palas charms is simply inspiring and irresistibly collectable.

Bought online, very helpful staff, happy to answer any questions. Great communication when a ring in our size was out of stock which came back in to stock quickly. I wish we had a Rata store in Napier! Lovely items that won't break the bank.
We bought two rings for our wedding, and had them altered along with a cherished family wedding band to be altered, the care, communication and work that was done was impeccable and faultless, rata generously waived the cost of one alteration as well, every step of the way was communicated and the advice given on customising the family ring was perfect. we highly recomend Vicki and her team if you ever need an item of jewellery for a special occssion.

Great experience shopping here. Was looking for a gift for my fiancé and the staff made things so easy by asking questions and helped me find the perfect gift. As a lad it can be intimidating buying jewellery but the staff at Rata make it a pain free process. Definitely returning here for birthdays and Christmas!
