Story

Rapid Dry is very much a family business. Currently Heath carries out the cleaning side of things, while Jeannie manages the phone and administration side of the business.

We started Rapid Dry in 2007 after selling our last Mount Maunganui business. Heath had been using up to that point a portable extraction machine, but it soon became evident that the portable wasn't going to cut it in terms of quality and competitiveness in our new business. SO, we purchased a machine and equipment at the complete other end of the scale, and set about finding and impressing as many customers as we could.

7 years later we have a large customer base of property managers, property investors, home owners, tenants and business owners. Our van mounted machine allows us to get the best results, using high heat, mega vacuum and less mucking around for both us and the customer. Our results speak for themselves, and we're very proud of the systems and business we've built.

Heath has built up a valuable knowledge around the stain removal aspect of our work, and is now very experienced in identifying, treating and removing stains from carpet, something a lot of other carpet cleaning companies seriously struggle with.

Moving forward, we've decided to extend the scope of the business, and Heath is now also the man for restoring and maintaining commercial vinyl flooring. It works well with our already substantial base of commercial/industrial clients and allows us to add more value to the service.
