Love this little place, nice and quiet with a relaxed atmosphere. So far, only good experiences and we come quite regularly. Quick and friendly service and meals always come out in a timely manner. They keep their kitchen open quite late in comparison to other places in Kapiti which is a huge bonus for someone who works late into the evening and just wants to eat ASAP : Thanks again, we love ya!
Lack of atmosphere as we sat down at our table no background ethnic music playing making the dinning experience very very quiet. The beers came out tempered. I ordered the chicken tikka full size at $25+ dollars and was underwhelmed when it came out I expected it to be full of flavour as they state that it’s done in a charcoal tandoor but it was anything but !! No real flavour at all
Eight items were delivered tonight, totaling $126.94. In general, main meals are average in terms of quality and taste. The portion size and price of two items were disappointing. It is evident from the photos that the chips for $6.99 were a third of the brown bag. The Papadi Kebab Full size costs $21.99 and comes with six strips. Lastly, when the food arrived, it wasn't very hot in temperature.
Family Restaurant Food: Huge range of curries and probably the best cheesy garlic naan I've ever had... or at least a long while. Atmosphere: Visited on Easter Monday for dinner, there was one other family. The restaurant was tidy, welcoming and clean. Warm atmosphere but sadly, local patrons mustn't have known they were open semi-public holiday. I'm sure locals would've loved a night out if they'd have known they were open. Price: Fairly priced. I paid $37.97 for the goat curry and two cheesy garlic naan. I had to get takeaway, I couldn't finish it all. Service: The waitress was quick, efficient and gave good recommendations. The kitchen staff/waiter was polite and took feedback well. I suggested they utilise the community Facebook page to let locals know they're open.
I always go whenever I finish work. The staff are super lovely even at night. Definitely the best curries I’ve had on the Kapiti coast. Give them a try I bet you won’t be disappointed. I haven’t been yet 10/10 Keep up the good work guys

Always a fast delivery. Staff very friendly. Food always delicious. With both my pregnancies I have craved Indian food and I have never been let down. Wish I could buy in bulk.
We popped in here for dinner on a Tuesday evening. By looking at the used tables, the place had been busy prior to our arrival, but we dined alone. We had a Samosa entree, which arrived with two pieces and a sauce. Main was a Chicken Pasanda and accompanied by a garlic Naan. Was very enjoyable. Recommended by friends. Never again. Food portion was super stingy. Tastewise, the lamb dahiwala tastes like the chicken Rogan Josh. Cannot make out the spices. We orders both medium. Here's our order for context: - Full lamb dahiwala $20.99 - did not fill my tummy and I'm a small asian lady - Full chicken Rogan Josh $19.99 - husband still hungry there was not much meat for both dish - garlic naan $5.99 this tastes ok and the portion was decent - chicken nuggets and chips $11.99 - omg this must be the stingiest portion of nuggets and chips I ever saw and 12 bucks for it? My daughter is still hungry too! - delivery charge $7 - Service charge $1 Total: $66.96 We won't come back again sorry. $67 and I think I'm going to have to cook some ramen later so thanks for nothing. We'll just have takeaway from star of india in future or fish and chip shop.
Great service and so delicious!! Shared a 2 person banquet- highly recommend becasue you get to try a variety of dishes and theres plenty to share!!! Definitely going backFood: 5/5
