100 stars. I don’t have enough stars for how highly I rate this place.nnI held my wedding reception at the Rangiora RSA for about 50 people. Charlotte and her team are without a doubt the single best event planners, catering team, bar team, and service team I have ever had the pleasure of working with. From the word “go” communication was clear and timely, planning everything from the drinks and food menu, to the decorations of the room, logistics of serving a two-course plated dinner around other activities happening during the event, and organising the technology, everything ran incredibly smoothly - both in the lead up and on the day itself.nnAnd that’s before we got to the food itself - my guests to this day rave about how good the food was. Delicious and generous portions. The food was a highlight for them and the fact the planning this whole thing was so stress-free was an additional highlight for me. I cannot thank Charlotte and the team at the Rangiora RSA enough for their hard work, efficiency, and excellent customer service.
Superb service from the waiters. Food is reasonable priced and good. Lots of sittings, can watch your favorite games and entertainment, dart boards, everything is clean and tidy. Love the war relics on display.
Good venue for meetings and catching up with people Meals are fantastic Staff friendly and you can listen to war stories from the older patrons .Different staff scince my last visit. A Lot younger but still very friendly welcoming and caring Amazung staff menu and club activities
This a very nice RSA ism looking great. Like all RSA's there is service and house membership. If you are a member of an RSA and have your card with you then you are entitled to the discount at the bar for drinks. The RSA has a great restaurant serving full dine in meals and bar meals. There are the clubs, the raffles, pool tables all going into the variety of things to do or be part of at the RSA. A great RSA with a supportive membership.
I've stayed here in my motorhome a couple of times, and I recently discovered that the money I paid for power was being pocketed by the RSA and young man living in a rental next to the RSA has been covering those costs. Stay away
