Superb service from the waiters. Food is reasonable priced and good. Lots of sittings, can watch your favorite games and entertainment, dart boards, everything is clean and tidy. Love the war relics on display.
Visited on Christmas eve. Hadn't been to the RSA since my grandma passed away in Feb 2010.nIt's a family-friendly club - the dining area was filled with parents and well-behaved children. Even the dance floor was pumping!nThe staff were friendly genuine as opposed to automatic fake-ness and greeted us like we were regulars.nIt was clean and tidy and the atmosphere felt great.nI went to have a few drinks with family I hadn't seen since my last visit down to the mainland, but would go there for a meal if the opportunity arose.nIt is a membership club so you have to be signed in by a member doesn't have to be family or you won't be able to purchase anything.
This a very nice RSA ism looking great. Like all RSA's there is service and house membership. If you are a member of an RSA and have your card with you then you are entitled to the discount at the bar for drinks. The RSA has a great restaurant serving full dine in meals and bar meals. There are the clubs, the raffles, pool tables all going into the variety of things to do or be part of at the RSA. A great RSA with a supportive membership.
Sat our first aid certificates there today. Loved the displays and yummy lunch.
Very well set up. Very friendly service and excellent meals.
