Stopped in for dinner tonight. I had steak, eggs, and chips with mushroom sauce, steak was cooked perfectly, and the sauce was delicious. My mother ordered the beef burger with chips, the bun was so soft and fresh, and the burger was nicely filling.nI have to add the house sav was really nice too.nWe were going to have dessert but were too full.
I don’t recommend this establishment for food, extremely overpriced and underwhelming.nnChicken Burger with cabbage what kind of sin is that.nBeef burger and chipsnLoaded wedgesnX2 glass of raspberry lemonade.nCost all up $91nnI understand the tourist area but that’s daylight robbery.nnNot worth the money you pay, the steak meal sets you back almost $45, passed on that meal due to price.
Very nice stay , very friendly staff and patrons . Clean and tidy rooms and bathroom. Great food and nice warm bar . Would absolutely recommend and I’ll be back in the summer
We recently spent 2 nights here at this charming hotel. I loved the decor and the hosts were friendly, and very accomodating. The rooms and bathrooms were clean and tidy, and cosy. The pub and restaurant attached had great meals , and decent prices and the staff were fantastic. Highly recommend this quiet and charming hotel if you fancy a getaway to the middle of nowhere for some peace and relaxation.
Friendly and helpful staff. Food was really good. I had the pork roast and it was fabulous really enjoyable after a long day biking. My husband had the steak, egg and chips which again was great - good hearty food. We were impressed that a pint of beer was $3.00 cheaper than our home town! Thanks for your hospitality.
