We have just spent five fantastic days in Orewa. Thank you Eric and Freda for presenting a top notch establishment. Restaurants were superb with great walks on the 3 km beach, a lovely estuary walk and a surprise jewel in the central lake. Great Op Shops and plenty to do in the surrounding area. We will be back.
I do have to consider that the rooms were amazing and the view was stunning, but everything else was a disaster. The TV wasnt working, Chair isnt working and the internet is horrible. Not considering the room, I wouldnt come here again.
I had a week or so to myself and I am glad I spent it here. It was perfect. So close to the beach, library just behind it, bus stop close by, and with 2 supermarkets and plenty of restaurants around - it was perfect for me. Clean, comfortable bed and pillows and I appreciate the cooking utensils. I loved the underfloor heating. Spacious unit.nnThough I noticed on the day I wasn't in, my room wasn't made, I did put the make room tag on my door. But I just assumed maybe the housekeepers won't come in if I wasn't in.nnWill definitely come back
Had a great stay-cation here recently. We didn’t want to venture all the way into Auckland city so we’re thrilled to be recommended this place by friends.nFriendly welcome, Secure parking on site, Lovely room with a view from balcony, right in middle of town centre so across the road to supermarket, cafes etc, not to mention Thai massage downstairs, which we took full advantage of.. and to top it off..lovely outdoor pool and spa! We will be back!
After an initial maintenance problem with a room , the manager kindly put us in a lovely studio with a great fan to cool as there is no AC . Ramada suites is not a hotel which I mistook it for . Unfortunately apart from a few good cafes and restaurants the Orewa waterfront is underwhelming , with many buildings in disrepair and vagrants a retail area with no pride
