Went in to get some fish and chips. I was told 10 minute wait, ended up waiting almost 20 minute. Lady behind counter was very rude, sighed when take my order. Food was overcooked and very oily, fish burnt and chips stale. I will not be returning

Great food and service! We didn't wait too long for our order. They make their own chips and the batter is delicious. Glad to have this back open in Rakaia.
Best fish'n'chips I've had in years. Chips were crispy on the outside and soft in the middle. Fish was small, but I was given two bits to make up for that, and it was the first time I've had a curry rice roll that wasn't bleeding oil.nThroughly recommend.nThank you.
