A great find in a small town!nThis place is quite big for a small town like Balclutha. Owner and lovely lady are genuinely very kind and welcoming, which makes the experience even better. The food is delicious and the portion sizes are very good — definitely value for money. A lovely place with a warm, friendly atmosphere. Highly recommended!
Absolutely loved the tandoori chicken at Raj Indian Restaurant in Balclutha! Just $22 for a whole chicken — amazing portion and full of authentic Delhi-style flavour. Felt like I was back in India. Highly recommend!
First of all ,iam an INDIAN.I ordered for a lamb vindaalo and i asked the person who served me if they can make the dish a bit semi-gravy type and he said “Yes” but was full gravy and the i told them spicy but couldnt even eat 3/4 th of that dish because they just dumbed chilli powder on the normal mild dish.i could really taste the raw chilli powder in it. The chicken naan was better,but no the best.Yeah i know why …..it took only 10mins max to prepare these two …IF YOU KNOW ,YOU KNOW..that was my new year dinner and you guys made it

We live in Bangkok where there's abundance of Indian food but never have we had such amazing Indian cuisine. Every dish was spot on in perfect not too spicy and even our three kids couldn't have enough
