I recently had the pleasure of dining at Raj in Balclutha, and I must say, it was an exceptional experience from start to finish. This Indian shop truly lives up to its reputation as the best in town.nnI ordered the Kadai Prawn, Onion Bhajis, and a Garlic Naan, and each dish was simply to die for! The Kadai Prawn was perfectly spiced and cooked to perfection, with a rich and flavorful sauce that left me wanting more. The prawns were succulent and fresh, making this dish a standout.nnThe Onion Bhajis were crispy and golden, with a delightful crunch that paired wonderfully with the accompanying chutney. They were light and not greasy at all, which is a testament to the quality of their preparation.nnThe Garlic Naan was fluffy and aromatic, with just the right amount of garlic. It was the perfect complement to the Kadai Prawn, helping to soak up every bit of the delicious sauce.nnThe ambiance at Raj is warm and welcoming, and the staff were attentive and friendly, making the entire experience even more enjoyable. If you're in Balclutha and craving authentic Indian cuisine, Raj is an absolute must-visit. I can't recommend it highly enough!
We ordered 5 different curries, heaps of naan breads and they were all amazing. Beautiful food and service. Highly recommend.
