Popped in while on our travels around the South Island. It was steak night so obviously we both got that and some desserts. Steak was perfect and chips were awesome. Mudcake and ice-cream were just as great. Staff were friendly as were the locals.
Ordered Fish and chips take away and was rather disappointed with the size serving especially considering the price - 1 scoop of chips is ⅓ the of size in Christchurch. The atmosphere is okay as pubs go. The service was good.

The platter of fried nibbles was very nice. They don't do coffee, which was a nuisance. Instant coffee would have been fine. It was a bit cold for lemonades.
