Stopped for lunch here after reading good reviews and so glad we did. I had the roast of the day which was pork and hubby had the rib eye with mushroom sauce which he said was amazing. Quintessential country pub, very friendly staff and locals. Highly recommend stopping here for a bite to eat.
Great pub, always go after work to wind down. Lovely staff, good food and great environment.
Clean place and There was a table of various sizes, so it was good to be able to sit according to the member of family/friends, as well there are kindness staff, cold beer and As you can see in the picture, delicious food too.
Awesome country pub, food really good, large servings and very filling. Beef schnitzel a real winner, delicious mushroom sauce. Service was fantastic. Love their $20 specials, a different one each night!
Ordered Fish and chips take away and was rather disappointed with the size serving especially considering the price - 1 scoop of chips is ⅓ the of size in Christchurch. The atmosphere is okay as pubs go. The service was good.
