This store is near my work and it's a lovely place to shop and not only stop for a snack but the great lovely people behind the counter offering great service! We appreciate you daily
I always stop by Rae's when I'm downtown. I could be hungry. Maybe just thirsty. And most definitely in need of a homemade cookie fix. But, whatever my need is, I always Reserve time to shoot the breeze with Robin, one of the owners. Robin exudes the spirit of Tucson. Which I defined as inclusive, creative, kind, and "dress up or dress down but definitely bring your flip-flops to change into at 2 a.m." kinda town. Now. Back to shooting the breeze with Robin. Whether he is expressing his love and devotion to Rachel, aka Rae, and the presence of Rae's Market downtown or I'm expressing my struggles in life; Robin makes time for the most important things.... People.
Horrible customer service from woman in there. She was horrible enough for me to never go back. The guy with the locs is always nice though.
Only thing that this place is missing is better breakfast/brunch menu with more veg options. TBH we'll just order coffee and pop over with our own avo and toasts next time apart from that rest is perfect, staff is nice and polite
The lady was rude, inconsiderate and insensitive idk if it was because of race or not but I would never go there again !!!
They're always so nice and have exactly what i need. They really care about customers. I've probably only gone about 5 times total and they already know who I am and what I need. Their soup is the best too! Definitely recommend
I freaking love these guys. Not only does the shop have a myriad of products, ranging from fresh food to beard balm, but the owners Rae and Rob are exceptionally great people. If they aren't too busy watch out for that downtown lunch crowd take a minute to chat with them and it could very easily be the highlight if your day. For being a local small business in a prime downtown location, the prices are incredibly reasonable. I've heard coworkers mention $5 for a burger is too expensive, but I challenge anyone to find a burger place with better deals. Trust me, I've looked. You'll be spending $10 or more for something of comparable quality - and with neither the versatile product selection nor the friendly atmosphere. The biggest issue I've ever seen at Rae's is just a lack of space from being so popular around lunchtime. 10/10, they deserve it.
Rae and Robin are exceptionally friendly, courteous, and inviting. Rae’s Place is an island of calm amidst an often chaotic, high-stress downtown bustle. I’m grateful we have such great business people who work so hard to maintain this business.
I go here on a daily basis. The owners are very friendly. The selection is good for all sorts of things, including hot food prepared in the back. Prices are very fair. Ask Robin or Rachel what things you can save money on by buying multiples.
Love love love! Everyone is so kind, food is great, snacks are amazing. Owned by wonderful people. I choose to spend my money here above a lot of places downtown.
