We visited the pools while on holidays in Queenstown. My 17.5 year old son was charged entry as an adult at the front counter, then not allowed in the hot tubs because he “looks too short for his age and doesn’t have ID.” My three children followed a group of other kids to the large pool, where a group of kids were bombing, jumping and doing flips. My kids tried to join in but an adult with the other group said to a supervising staff member “those kids aren’t with us, so you can yell at them all you like.” The supervising staff member then verbally abused my children in front of onlookers and threatened to kick them out of the pool. We left after this feeling so embarrassed and uncomfortable. I really don’t think they like tourists here. The pool itself was otherwise nice to enjoy.
Awesome place. Affordable membership you can easily cancel anytime.nGym has everything you need. It is usually very crowded after 4pm.nThere is a nice swimming pool and hot pool as well.
Fantastic swimming pool with plenty of lanes and not too busy.nnGreat gym with all the machines you need and plenty of space.nnEasy to get to with plenty of parking.
Great gym and it has a lot of activities to do. Gym classes, swimming pool, basketball court, soccer and rugby fields. If you’re an active person you should check it out!
Great that you can come here for a shower. Especially useful if you're coming off a long camping or hiking trip and need to sort before catching a flight. It was about $5 for just a shower I think and $8 of you also wanted to use the spa. I did use the spa but they were having technical issues and it wasn't very hot, also note that it doesn't have any jets or bubbles - really just a hot pool.
