Pleasantly windy, flat paths to stroll, go for a jog, or cycle. Amazing view of the Basilica Church, a playground for kids, and lovely spots for a picnic. Is also close to the Simonis metro station
I love to walk around here, many large trees provide a nice cool temperature, very convenient in summer, but for your personal safety, keep your walks during the daytime. One cannot walk very long distances here, so this is not for brisk walking. The park is well arranged, enjoy !
Beautiful park with a cute children's playground. Lots of trees, plenty of space to make a nice walk or a bicycle ride.
It is a beautiful park full of activities on certain days,
Nice place to hang out with pets. Jogging and walking ground. Sit relax. Lots of sitting benches. Good place for senior citizens.
Nice park near the basilica
I recently visited this park and was blown away by its natural beauty. The lush greenery and scenic views were simply breathtaking. The park itself was well-maintained and clean, with plenty of facilities to make the most of my visit. The walking trails were peaceful and offered some fantastic photo opportunities, while the picnic areas were spacious and perfect for a family outing. I was particularly impressed with the playground, which was well-equipped and kept the children entertained for hours. I also appreciated the pet-friendly areas, which allowed me to bring my furry friend along for the adventure. The park staff were friendly and knowledgeable, making me feel welcome from the moment I arrived. Overall, I highly recommend this park to anyone looking for a peaceful and enjoyable outdoor experience.
Drove passed the park en route to Basilica church. Love to see so many greenaries in Brussels city centre. I was told by the guide that the park was named after international competition called the Queen Elizabeth competition is for career-starting musicians held in Brussels. The competition is named after Queen Elisabeth of Belgium. Simply beautiful and stunning location if you fancy a nice walk or jogging .
The park has a long path that is interesting and relaxing to walk because you see yourself surrounded by nature, also from afar you can appreciate the monumental church, BUT, you can see people of dubious appearance. My husband and I were a little scared because you see particular boys. And that it was winter and day. I don't want to imagine in summer and at night when the temperature is better. There are no police, security or surveillance anywhere. So be careful.
Amazing place, amazing architecture.
