Story

Qubic Store was founded on 07/07/07 in an effort to try and re-define the traditional notion of retail in New Zealand. Setting up an independent boutique unprecedented in size and scope at the time, it is the brainchild of Frank Liew and Ivy Ong, who have spent countless hours travelling the world and refining their vision, spawning whole movements and influencing hundreds of people along the way through its philosophy and product offerings.

Not only a retail store, the space exists as a continually evolving entity that introduces and brings the best of what its founders have found from all over the world to New Zealand in the form of both products and events.

A past Metro Magazine "Best of" winner, finalists in the Fashion category of the NZRA awards, and various features in international print and digital media have all attested to the store's imprint in the cultural landscape over the years. In 2011, Qubic Store again aims to reset the benchmark, undergoing an extensive renovation and re-branding to once again bring the store back to top international standards.
