Pleasant, friendly lounge in Heathrow terminal three. Well catered, with à la cart as well as buffet service. For those looking forward to a good coffee you will be happy. No English muddy water here. Plenty of seating, as well as shower areas to refresh before your long journey home to Australia. For gin connoisseurs there is a large selection available to trial before your flight home.
Very well presented and elegant lounge. Welcoming and friendly staff. Great place to relax. Excellent selection of drinks and food, which includes table service restaurant. The gin bar upstairs is a must!
Awesome, fantastic resturant style downstairs section and the lounge, bar and buffet upstairs. Stylish, fantastic materials and great food. There is also a dedicated room for entertaining noisy kids. The squid was a standout from the dishes available at the time.
This is a spectacular lounge, that’s no doubt. Firstly however, the elephant in the room. If you are OneWorld Emerald member, i.e. top tier and therefore have access to the Cathay Pacific first lounge, Cathay is better. It is my personal favourite and the dedicated first class facilities and a-la-carte dining, I believe are a better option in this lounge. That being said this lounge is spectacular. If this lounge was in any other terminal at Heathrow, apart from T3, in other words not in the same terminal as the Cathay Lounge, it would be hands down the best choice. This lounge is fantastic, almost without fault, easily the second best lounge in all of Heathrow. The staff are friendly on the front desk, the Lounge Décor itself is nice and tastefully modern, however the runway views and windows could be slightly nicer and are no march for Cathay. The lounge has a beautiful marble drinks bar great for getting cocktails especially gin. The buffet food selection on offer is fantastic with a substantial amount of good quality food and a good range especially at breakfast time. The seats are comfortable and the lounge is fairly big with a really nice ambience and vibe. All in all, this is a spectacular Lounge it’s almost without fault, but the fact that it’s perched right next door to probably the greatest lounge in all of Europe, means it’s slightly outshined. If you are a business class passenger or OneWorld Sapphire then it may be up to personal choice as to which you prefer, this Qantas lounge or the Cathay business class lounge. However if you are a OneWorld Emerald member or travelling first class, then the Cathay lounge is slightly better…
Downstairs a la carte dining is not open for lunch, so perhaps this lounge is better for breakfast and dinner. The buffet lunch options upstairs were poor and exclusively vegetarian, consisting mainly of bread and salad. It is frustrating that there are no free pour drinks on offer not even soft drinks and you have to get all drinks from the bar. On the plus side, the gin bar downstairs has a great selection and make some very nice cocktails. The decor and layout of the lounge itself is fine, if uninspiring.
The Qantas lounge is conveniently located at the heart of the departure level. It consists of two floor, the first floor is mainly a bar area, whereas the second floor is where the food and the majority of the seating locate. The breakfast selection has great variety of dishes. The decor looks refreshing and not as dull as compared to other Oneworld lounges at T3. It wasn’t particularly crowded in the morning at around 10:00-11:00. For Oneworld premium cabin passengers, I’d recommend you to use either this lounge or the Cathay Pacific lounge, considering the location, environment and food.
This place is amazing! Orders of magnitude better than the BA lounge. The food, service and decor are second to none! Well done Qantas!
Great to spend a few hours. Showers, buffet, ala-carte restaurant from 5pm. Love the gin bar.
Great premium lounge... superb marble bar upstairs with a la carte dining downstairs.
We spent many hours waiting comfortably for a delayed flight. Light lunches, snacks and drinks available until flight was called. The best way to wait and we will definitely use again. Staff were amazing, a very pleasant experience despite an 11 hour delay!
