Recently 2025nDecided to return hoping for improvement from the previous fly in battered fish incident...nWell the recent pic says it all.nSmall pieces of Greasy battered fish. Over cooked undrained chips cooked I old oil. Poor customer service.nStill Cheap and nasty!nBack in 2017, I got a fly cooked in my battered fish. I got my money back for the family pack but it's put me off and I have never been back. Was a frequent customer until then.
Delicious fresh fish and chips. Super crispy and yummy. Chips were well salted and just primo. Pretty quick too we called in and 10 minutes later it was all ready for us.
The food is nice BUT the young ones behind the counter are nothing but RUDE ! They need to remember that it's the public who pay for them ALL to go away on holiday for a month, if not more, every year.nThis is the last place I'd go to spend my money & I live right across the road !
When I phone my order in, They hang up super fast sometimes before you finish speaking. Plus salt way too much salt which made my meal too salty to eat. So the rubbish bin got it. Then last night they hung up so fast I had to ring back to say NO SALT AT ALL. OUR MEAL WAS SO MUCH BETTER. Staff young girls are rude. The food is good though
Fish & Chips, Burgers and Chinese Takeaways are great. But their Customer Service is shocking, the young kids serving at the counter are rude and impolite. Not very friendly at all, I know that they're there to make a quid, but, could you do it with a smile. This used to be a great Fish & Chip shop from the 1970's, 80's, 90's, but these current owners especially the woman along with the kids are damn right rude.
