Story

My name is Terri Pain, I am a homeschooling mama of five based in Tasman NZ. My passion was born out of photographing my own children but never being in front of the camera myself.


Pure Heart represents the areas of photography I am most passionate about; capturing the purity and essence of children in their natural environment & immortalizing these messy, beautiful seasons of life, the ordinary day to day moments that become imprinted in our hearts.

Cannot recommend the Christmas Mini’s enough! Sarah squeezed us in last minute and I am so grateful to have these special photos of my little boy for his first Christmas. She was so lovely, friendly, and great with him. We have some super special memories to look back on and will definitely be back again next week.

We have used Rustic for many shoots over the last 15months. Newborn shoot, little sitter, cake smash and a Christmas photo session. I cannot rate Sarah Enough! Her photos speak for themselves really every single one is stunning. she is so talented! From the most beautiful new born photos to capturing their little personalities. We always enjoy going to see her and having photos done it’s just a really enjoyable experience and the finished product is always everything you wished for and more. Sarah is just so lovely, so easy to talk to nothing is too much. If you have any questions or if your stuck on ideas for cake smash ect she’s happy to help! She really care about each and ever session and it shows. I couldn’t imagine having my daughter or any future babies photographed by anyone else.
I have used Sarah several times now from my maternity shoot to newborn shoots she has never disappointed. Her warm and friendly manner instantly puts you at ease. I am very particular some say fussy when it comes to photos and Sarah has always been more then accommodating with my many crazy requests and has always gone above and beyond to deliver and it shows it her work. I couldn't recommend her enough. 5 's every time.
