What a hidden gemcame with Shannon today, believe me that you don’t want to miss this winery if you come to cooks beach, lovely owners and fabulous wine.
Danny was marvelous host, he gave us a very intriguing and unique tasting of liquors made on the farm and was a wonderful conversationalist. He even drove down to bring us some feijoa to try. Plus the view is spectacular. Will definitely return!
Amazing liqueur tasting experience. Entrance is a little bit hidden so look out for the sign. Exotic liqueurs for example feijoa, passion fruit, persimmon, ginger, plum etc. Danny is really interesting to talk to! Definitely recommend this and I think this should be more popular. Beautiful view too
Absolutely fabulous winery, gorgeous views, excellent host, and even better wines and spirits. Worth a visit. The host is entertaining and very knowledgeable. You could spend an entire afternoon drinking and enjoying the scenery.
Danny was not only a great host and an amazing guide to the New Zealand's liquors culture, but he was also a life-saver!!! Me and my friend were stuck because the battery of our car had died, and he generously came to help us under the rain. Thanks to him, we could finally leave for the rest of our trip. Going to his winery is going to be a great experience, a great encounter and a fantastic tasting. I discovered fruits I didn't know of, had a lovely conversation and left with my arms full of bottles A must ! Cheers from Mathéo and Maëllie
One of the highlights of our stay on the Coromandel. Well worth a stop. We bought a few bottles after a delicious tasting where Danny taught us heaps about the local area and other interesting facts!. West Islanders can expect some good natured banter. We'll be recommending everyone to stop here.
Lots of different drinks on offer, pleasantly surprised by everything we tried. One of the friendliest hosts I've ever had. Couldn't recommend enough

An amazing winery, delicious liqueurs and Danny was absolutely amazing at telling us about all of them and so kind and helpful on top of that. Cannot recommend highly enough!
