Told you guys many times about expired products on your shelves but you still act like you didn’t knew about it. You should be ashamed of yourself for having these products on shelves even after 2 years of expiry date and also using these in your boliwood restaurant
Been living in Queenstown since 2015 and always had bad experience with this grocery store since they opened. They sell expired products, no price labels on the products, and very overpriced items. I would suggest my folks from india to shop at New world or Paknsav as they stock most of the Indian produce and half the price and of great quality. We won’t come again
Looking pretty good now comparing to previous management. Shop looks nice with decent product range. The service is really good now. The team member in the shop floor has really good customer service and he is very helpful. Just hoping to get more varieties and the the product has the price lable on the shelf.
Awful experience every time we have been to this store. Expired products, no price tags, and everything is so overpriced. I will be complaining further to NZFS as they are interfering with people’s health.
Stocking issues make basic things like frozen vegetables impossible to find. They tried to sell us eggs at $2/piece saying eggs are in short supply everywhere in Queenstown. We walked over to the countdown store just around the corner and bought eggs at $0.70/piece and didn't even have the one pack per customer limit. That's just bad form if you ask me. Everything is on average $2 overpriced. Felt like a desi nukkad ki dukaan hustling for more. Won't be going back ever.
The store is huge, but hardly anything worth buying. The store needs a lot of work with keeping shelves full. I was disappointed knowing that this is the only Indian supermarket in Queenstown.
Staff is super friendly. Helps you in buying ths stuff you are looking for and makes the buying experience easy. Although not all the things available but that could be because of less of shopper footfall.
We were on a holiday in NZ South Island and wanted some Indian groceries as we have a little human with this. We found MOST of their products EXPIRED and the main person at the counter did not seem to be bothered about this...I forgot to take pictures of the food .. We then realised that the own the restaurant besides them....so all the expired stock will be used there... What if my little one would have eaten this food ? This is the reason why Indians name is spoilt everywhere. I want to escalate this to the food inspector. Can anyone guide ?
Shop management is quite poor, no NZD price tags on products or aisles, so many expired products on shelves. Some products have fungus on them. Nobody responds or deliver online purchases.
Been to this shop 2 times. Both of the time the shop was open but there was no one in the shop. Waited long time then told by next door restuarant that guy has gone on break and second time i was told guy has gone out to bring stuff for the shop. Wat the heck they dont care about the customers. If you people cant operate the shop y dont shut it down and relax as no one is never there. Worst place.
