We stayed for 4 nights at Seascapes Holiday Homes at Punakaiki in a very comfortable house overlooking the Sea. We were able to easily walk on the beach, to the blowholes and lovely range of bushwalks. There was coffee and food just a few hundred metres both up and down the road and the camping ground proprietors who also manage the Seascape House could not have been better. We loved our stay and highly recommend it.
A group of 5 of us did the Paparoa Great Walk in February 2023. We stayed the night before our walk in Cliffscapes, then stayed in Seascapes at the end of our walk for one night. Both homes were beautifully furnished, and were very comfortable, spacious and welcoming. The Punakaiki Beach Camp people were helpful and friendly, and a particular highlight was the whitebait fritter sandwiches from the little food truck in the campground. Staying at Punakaiki Escapes was a great and convenient way to start and end our walk. Thoroughly recommend to all and would happily stay again next time we are down on the Best Coast.
Cliffscapes was an outstanding place to stay. A great location close to the beach for lovely walks. The house was roomy, well equipped and very well presented. We loved our stay there and would highly recommend it to others.
We stayed at Treescapes after doing the Paparoa. What an awesome place! Such a cool design and set up we really loved the view and the facilities. The place was really clean and the beds were so comfy. Would definetely stay here again!
Would highly recommend Seascapes. We had 3 nights here and loved every minute. Close enough to everything in Punakaiki that you can walk everywhere. Would come back.
