Have stayed there a number of times. Beautiful camp ground. Beautiful place and lots to do around the area. Toilets and showers need some upgrade. 0nly 2 showers work properly and this was the same when we visited 2 months ago. Overall good place to stay.
Totally surprised by how nice this place was. Riverside cabins seem to be best option for 2 people. Nice views and a private deck. Shared bathroom facilities were very clean. My overall experience here was almost as good as the room I paid $650 /night for in Franz Josef except to be fair, that room included an incredible 5 course dinner.nThe food cart on the property was also impressive. Had a fish cake for dinner that was amazing.nThe enormous beach is only a few steps away and could hear the waves crashing from our cabin. There national park pancake rocks is just a short walk away. Definitely don't want to miss a stop there.
The perfect camping ground I tent camped here. It’s right next to the beach and walking distance from trails, caves, and pancake rocks. The common spaces are well maintained and clean and the coffee cart serves delicious treats. I loved staying here.
Yes, it is a nice spot! But the facilities are way too basic for a huge campground like that!nOnly 3 bad showers for hundreds of people, only a few tables in the kitchen..nDear Owner: you´re obviously making a ton of money every day. Please invest some of that in new showers, wifi extender etc.
Camp is alright, expensive 22 $/night to pitch a tent. Wouldn’t mind that too much, but the host lady made me feel unwelcome for not getting out at 10am sharp although I had the tent packed and only sat at the patio table to wait for my afternoon bus. Wrong attitude to keep guests grateful and happy.
