Entrance is in Owen Street, off SH 6, 1km north of Pancake Rocks & easy 45 min drive from Westport or Greymouth. Ideal for overnight stop or extended stay, the Punakaiki Beach Camp is an excellent base to explore limestone gorges, bushwalks, beaches & Pancake Rocks & Blowholes.

Mature site, shrubs and privacy. old facilities but clean with a friendly inviting layout. Recommend for self contained.
Very helpful and friendly staff, beautiful maintained grounds and facilities. It's very easy to locate and sits on the beach. Lots of things to do and see here. Hiking, swimming, fishing or just relaxing. Highly recommend staying here. Since seeing Punakaiki, I really want to live here. Its my favourite place in NZ
We could have stayed here for a week. The sunset was beautiful, great swimming in the river near the beach and also jumping off rocks up the Gorge. And of course the pancake rocks.... Will stay here again!!
Asides from being next to an attractive beach I would not return here. Few showers, few toilets and small kitchen and lounge.
Great campsite, location and facilities. Fair price. Friendly staff.
A great Family Camp, lovely to see the children enjoying themselves. Short walk to beautiful beach. Excellent camp facilities, even has some unisex ensuite facilities. Well worth using.
